Grounded Strategies works to improve the social, economic, and environmental health of distressed and transitional communities by building capacity to reclaim vacant and underutilized land. They also provide resources and tools concerning advocacy, research, and project reports.

UpstreamPgh restores and protects our watershed ecosystem, while working regionally to support and implement resilient solutions for a healthier urban environment. They provoide rerosurces and programs for stormwater management.
Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group
The Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG) is a consortium of community leaders working for economic justice, equitable investment practices, and sufficient financial resources to revitalize communities throughout Allegheny County.
Reducing Outdoor Contaminants in Indoor Spaces
In September 2015, we launched the Low Cost Monitoring Project (LCMP) as part of the ROCIS Initiative. The purpose of the Low Cost Monitoring Project is to explore and clarify the value and applications for low cost monitoring devices to address indoor air quality.
Grounded
In order to reduce barriers to planning, implementing, and maintaining community outdoor projects, our team offers wide-ranging support for neighbors and small organizations. Our resources include The PGH Mobile Toolbox, Land Doctor consultations, Lots to Love Online and the Refresh Fund.

Sustainable Pennsylvania, a joint project of the Pennsylvania Municipal League and Sustainable Pittsburgh, is a voluntary performance recognition program designed to help municipalities set and achieve sustainability goals, save money, conserve resources, and foster a vibrant community.
The Pennsylvania Municipal League is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization established in 1900 as an advocate for Pennsylvania’s 3rd class cities. Today, The League represents participating Pennsylvania cities, boroughs, townships, home rule communities and towns that all share The League’s municipal policy interests.
