E3 Sharing Energy Data: Do you have a year or more worth of data to share about the municipality's energy use? If so, please select "yes" below and then click "more info" for instructions on how to report. Please note: you must submit this data to earn points for quantified energy reductions in the following questions.

E5 Energy Use Intensity Reduction:  By what percentage has the municipality reduced its energy use intensity compared to the baseline performance? Please calculate based on changes between the current year and base year you reported above. See “more info” for calculation instructions. A reduction is required for Platinum.

Reporting Energy Data

To share your energy data with Sustainable Pittsburgh, please download the Sharing-energy-data Sustainable PA file linked below. The file contains instructions about what and how to report. When the spreadsheet is complete, upload it to the sharing energy data question using the attachment function on the online program portal. You must upload the completed spreadsheet as an excel file with the file name “YYYYMMDD_Municipality_Energy data.”

Energy Use Intensity

Energy Use Intensity is a way to analyze energy consumption based on the square footage of the building and its function. This allows the end user to compare the performance of their building against the performance of other buildings serving the same function. It also permits the end user to determine if they have improved their energy performance even if their overall building footprint changes.
